Bvlgari debuts High Jewellery collection in Dubai
The blues of the Mediterranean, the pinks of a Roman sunset, and the golds of an ancient age reverberate in the Bvlgari Haute Joaillerie collection of 2017
The green manicured lawns of the One & Only The Palm were the backdrop against which Bvlgari unveiled its sparkling high jewellery creations to a select gathering of brand aficionados, friends, and clients in Dubai.
Lucia Silvestri, Bvlgari’s Creative Director, and winner of this year’s “Gem Award for Jewelry Design” at the 15th Annual GEM Awards, was on hand along with the maison’s high jewellery creative director, Giampaolo Della Croce, to play host to the gathering.
Titled “Magnificent Inspirations”, the collection is classed as daring “Italian Extravaganza”, romantic “Mediterranean Eden”, and mythical “Roman Heritage”. Rich with colour, exuberance, and glamour, Italian Extravaganza contains seductive additions to the Diva’s Dream, Le Magnifiche Creazioni, and the Colour Treasures collections. Prominent emeralds, sapphires, and rubies sourced from the remote corners of the world form the foundation of the Gemme Straordinarie line.
The Serpenti slithers out in new avatars to enrich the Mediterranean Eden, while new floral beauties that symbolise emotion, celebration, and love are captured in its Fiore di Bvlgari and Giardini Italiani collections.
A scintillating addition to the Parentesi Collection, which exalts age-old coins, esteems historic dynasties, and recalls ancient legends, is a new necklace that recalls the travertine stones that paved the roads that lead to the Eternal City, while managing to leave behind the straight lines of its previous interpretations.
