Chopard Happy Offerings

Chopard Happy Offerings: Haute joaillerie and horlogerie maison Chopard has chosen its iconic Happy Hearts to present its first all-ethical gold collection.

From July 2018, 100% of Chopard watches and jewellery will be produced in ethical gold.

With its new interpretations of twist bangles and twist rings, Happy Hearts is the very first collection marking the start of this new era. The marque has also brought out a new addition to its Happy Fish line of watches

Happy Hearts

The heart is above all about the radiance of happy days, constantly reinvented by Chopard through a playful collection with countless enchanting variations. The Happy Hearts collection comprises new twist bracelets and rings with a decidedly modern structure composing an anthem to lightness.

Corporate responsibility and ethics have always been an integral part of the Scheufele family’s philosophy, and sustainable development is one of the core principles upheld by Chopard. This commitment is now being taken to new heights: as of July 2018, Chopard will use 100% ethical gold in producing its watches and jewellery.

Spiralling across the skin in enchanting and fanciful ways, Happy Hearts twist bangles are a reminder of the multiple bracelets that have adorned women’s arms since time immemorial. Structured like cuff bracelets and crafted in 18-carat rose or white gold, they delicately reveal the daintiness of a feminine wrist. They are graced with two hearts at each end, as are the Happy Hearts twist rings based on the same principle, radiantly coiled like a noble extension of the finger. Light and colour rule supreme on the larger of the two hearts, artfully associated with precious materials such as diamonds, white mother-of-pearl, opal as well as onyx. Like a delicate counterpoint, the transparent open heart at the other end provides a precious echo, punctuated by a moving diamond whirling between two sapphire crystals based on the principle of Chopard’s signature Happy Diamonds.

Happy Fish

Exploring the depths of the sea, Chopard offers Happy Fish that leads us to the heart of dazzling marine sights. Enlivened by the whirling dance of Happy Diamonds, the sea reveals its most precious treasures with a new Happy Fish model.

Launched in 2002 with a distinctive marine-life inspiration, the Happy Fish is another stopping point along the long-distance voyage undertaken by the Happy Sport, which has perpetually reinvented its peerless chic through each of its interpretations. Created in 1993 by Caroline Scheufele, it overturned existing watchmaking conventions by the unusual association between steel and diamonds. The radical modernity of its lines and materials make a perfect match with the playful spirit of Happy Diamonds, the setting-free of diamonds that dance joyfully between two sapphire crystals.

Happy Fish watch

Textured mother-of-pearl and luminescent moving diamonds give a stunning ocean-coloured performance.

The exquisite Happy Fish collection welcomes a splendid model in a 250-piece limited edition series. The Happy Fish watch features a navy blue textured mother-of-pearl dial with subtle colour nuances evoke shimmering sea beds. In the dial centre, a delightful fish that remains extremely discreet by day, lights up joyfully when the night falls.

Five moving diamonds, luminescent at night, along with a small white gold fish, dance as if is in one of the world’s most precious aquariums. The watch features a navy blue alligator leather strap that brings out the colours of the dial. Setting the cadence for this aquatic ballet is a self-winding movement housed in a steel case.
