Harry Winston continues sponsorship of amfAR Inspiration Gala New York

The amfAR Inspiration Gala New York is a fundraising event to benefit the organisation’s research programmes and platforms for raising awareness of HIV/AIDS

The black-tie gala, dedicated to men’s style, also featured a menswear runway show, with select models wearing timepieces and accessories by Harry Winston, including the limited-edition Countdown to a Cure Timepiece.

Harry Winston, in honour of its second year of partnership with amfAR, introduced in February 2016, the  Countdown to a Cure Timepiece – a limited edition collection of 20 men’s and 20 women’s models. Retailing for $21,200 for the men’s timepiece, and $16,200 for the women’s, the collection is sold exclusively at Harry Winston salons worldwide, with 20 per cent of the retail sales price benefitting amfAR’s efforts to develop the scientific basis of a cure for HIV by 2020.

Gabrielle Union wore Straight Line Diamond Earrings with Sapphire Drops, Winston Cluster Diamond Ring, and a Sapphire and Diamond Ring, all set in platinum, on the red carpet. Victoria Justice dazzled in Secret Combination Chandelier Diamond Earrings, a Queen Diamond Ring, and a Winston Cluster Diamond Ring, all set in platinum, while Jason Derulo was seen sporting a Harry Winston Ocean Dual Time Monochrome Limited Edition Automatic Timepiece, set in Zalium. Valery Kaufman stole the limelight in Secret Cluster Pink Sapphire and Diamond Drop Earrings, and a Winston Cluster Diamond Ring, both set in platinum.

Timepieces featured in the fashion show included theCountdown to a Cure Limited Edition Midnight 42mm Automatic Timepiece in 18k White Gold, the Avenue Dual Time Automatic Timepiece in Zalium, the Project Z6 Limited Edition Timepiece in Zalium, the Ocean Sport Chronograph Automatic Timepiece in Zalium, and the Midnight Moon Phase 42mm Automatic Timepiece in 18k Rose Gold.
