Montblanc celebrated its 110th anniversary in Dubai with the Middle East debut of its commemorative Heritage Rouge & Noir collection

Hosted by Eric Vergnes, President Montblanc, Middle East, Africa and India, the elegant 1920’s Gatsby-style party was themed around the serpent – a tribute to the serpent clip of the Montblanc 1920s pen.  The Heritage Rouge & Noir Collection includes a range of leather goods, men’s jewellery and accessories, writing instruments and a limited edition timepiece.

The Ultimate Serpent Limited Edition 1, limited to just one piece, was the star attraction. Weighing over 130g in total, the pen features 99 grams of gold, with approximately 1,950 or 15.34 carats of dark blue sapphires, 153 individually cut geometric diamonds, two high quality rubies to illuminate the eyes of the serpent, and a 6.15 carat Montblanc diamond adorning the cap.

Continuing the serpent theme, a tie bar, bracelet and assortment of cufflinks offer contemporary masculine refinement. Designed to be paired with the Ultimate Serpent Limited Edition 1 and also limited to just one piece, a pair of solid red gold cufflinks feature a skeletonised frame and special 1.91 and 1.92 carat diamonds cut in the shape of the Montblanc emblem.

Limited to three innovative timepieces, the new Villeret Tourbillon Bi-Cylindrique 110 years Anniversary features an in-house one-minute tourbillon, a double cylindrical balance spring and the Maison’s Heures Mystérieuses display. A three-dimensional, hand-engraved, anthracite serpent has been integrated into the bezel and also depicted on the back of the 52 mm red gold case with an elegant hand-engraving of a slithering serpent.
