Following the introduction of the monkey as the first Montblanc Legend of Zodiacs, 2017 sees the Rooster Limited Edition 512, which has a hand-engraved rooster on the silver cap, contrasting with the black lacquer barrel.
The zodiac symbol is elegantly etched on the rhodium-coated Au750 solid gold nib, while the top of the cap features the birth years relevant for the rooster.
The pen, a limited edition of 512, has a cone set with a faceted citrine, the yellow birthstone of the rooster. Another writing instrument honouring the Water Dragon has also been unveiled in a limited edition of 88 by the Maison.
