Green-dialed Patek Philippe Nautilus yields almost half a million at auction

On July 21, 2021, the Hotel de Paris in Monaco witnessed Antiquorum auction off the eagerly awaited Patek Philippe Ref. 5711/1A Nautilus with olive green dial, for a stunning US$ 490,000. Following Patek Philippe CEO Thierry Stern’s announcement that this Nautilus with olive green dial was replacing the iconic blue-dialed Ref. 5711-1A-010, this new reference quickly became the hottest watch on the market with a growing waiting list, and Antiquorum was the first to offer it – factory-sealed and consigned from the original owner – on auction. The final price, over ten times what it retails for on the market today, shows how highly coveted this reference is.
