Haute Horlogerie line, a visually stunning “Peacock” High Jewellery watch, as well as watches and jewellery additions to the L’Heure du Diamant. Alpine Eagle 33
The new Alpine Eagle 33 is presented in ethical 18-carat rose gold, adorned with diamonds on the bezel, hour-markers, and the central bracelet cap. Water-resistant to 50 metres, it features a Pink Dawn dial. This new model is equipped with the in-house self-winding Chopard 09.01-C movement, beating at a precise 25,200 vibrations an hour (3.5 Hz). Endowed with a 42-hour power reserve, this calibre is equipped with a sophisticated stop-seconds function for accurate time-setting. It is chronometer-certified for accuracy, underlining the stringent demands placed on the mechanical movements chosen to power the Maison’s watches. In addition, most importantly, this 8-ligne movement is one of the smallest to receive COSC certification.
Alpine Eagle 41 Frozen
Crafted in ethical 18-carat white gold, the Alpine Eagle 41 Frozen’s case, bezel, and integrated bracelet are entirely set with diamonds. The watch features the collection’s iconic design: the eight indexed screws that secure the bezel to a round case with stylised flanks; the integrated bracelet; and the compass rose engraved on the gold crown. The hours and minutes can be read off on the dial by day and night thanks to facetted hands and rhodium-plated Roman numerals enhanced with Grade X1 SuperLuminova. Alpine Eagle 41 Frozen is powered by the 182-component Chopard 01.03-C calibre – a mechanical self-winding movement visible through a sapphire crystal on the back of the watch. It is subject to strict specifications, guaranteeing a power reserve of 60 hours as well as excellent accuracy. Thanks to its abundance of diamonds, it evokes tiny flakes of frost covering glaciers.
Alpine Eagle XL Chrono in Lucent Steel A223
The new Alpine Eagle XL Chrono, available in Aletsch Blue or Pitch Black dial, feature a sporty and masculine extra-large 44 mm case forged from Lucent Steel A223, an innovative steel alloy developed by Chopard for its anti-allergenic properties, its robustness and its incomparable brilliance achieved through a meticulous recasting process. The discreet right-hand pushers relating to the chronograph functions are subtly integrated on either side of the crown guards and preserve the collection’s characteristically harmonious shape and symmetry. Beating at the heart of these two new models is the Chopard 03.05-C movement – one of the world’s most innovative chronograph movements and chronometer-certified by the COSC. It has a 60-hour power reserve and features an elaborate design guaranteeing accurate adjustments and optimal use of the chronograph functions. Equipped with a column wheel, it is also enhanced by several technical innovations that have earned Chopard three patents stemming from the boldness of its R & D teams.
Happy Sport
The Happy Sport collection welcomes three new creations in a delightful palette of blue. Three dancing diamonds are at the heart of a 30 mm watch designed to fit even the slimmest wrist. From case to bracelet, it is made entirely of stainless steel, framing a softly luminous sky-blue dial. A second edition plays on the marriage of materials with a 36 mm case in stainless steel paired with a crown and cabochons in ethical 18-carat rose gold. The navy-blue dial with its five twirling diamonds matches the colour of the leather strap. Both the hour-markers and the hands are gilded to reflect the tone of the crown and cabochons. In a third 36 mm version, ethical 18-carat rose gold adorns the bezel in addition to the crown and cabochons. The textured mother-of-pearl dial enables a fascinating blue colour gradient, setting the stage for the whirl of seven dancing diamonds.
L.U.C Full Strike Tourbillon
The L.U.C Full Strike Tourbillon is a 20-piece limited edition in ethical 18-carat rose gold, with exceptional strikework and a quintessential complication. The L.U.C Haute Horlogerie collection has been enriched with the L.U.C Full Strike, which adds a tourbillon with a sapphire bridge to the monobloc sapphire minute repeater inherent to the L.U.C Full Strike series. This 42.5 mm timepiece in ethical 18-carat rose gold is equipped with the new chronometer-certified L.U.C 08.02-L movement. The extremely accomplished level of finishing, both on the movement and the case, has earned it the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark. Its dial, in ruthenium grey-coloured hand-guilloché rose gold, opens to reveal the two complications that make this 20-piece limited edition so sophisticated. Endorsed by virtuoso brothers Renaud and Gautier Capuçon, its acoustic richness achieves an exceptional level of quality, while perfect homogeneity makes it an unparalleled timepiece combining a stunning conceptual challenge with supremely accomplished execution.
“Peacock” Haute Joaillerie Watch
Chopard’s Animal World began in 2010 when Co-President and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele imagined an Haute Joaillerie collection paying homage to the 150th anniversary of the Maison. This time, the elegant peacock is honoured in a jewellery watch. The bird unfurls its tail with considerable panache around the mother-of-pearl dial, protecting the course of time with a bouquet of bejewelled feathers. The fascinating array of plumage is captivating with its multiple eyes featuring blue sapphire pupils and rimmed with intense green lashes. This ‘sun wheel’ revered in Indian mythology opens the mind to serene contemplation and regeneration of the soul, with the peacock feather also a symbol of justice. Powered by a self-winding movement, this watch was nominated by the GPHF in the Jewellery category. Its creation involved no less than 340 hours of craftsmanship, including setting some 2,230 gemstones – ranging from diamonds to Paraiba tourmalines, sapphires, tsavorites and lazulites – on a sophisticated anodised titanium frame.
L’Heure du Diamant
L’Heure du Diamant is a collection of timepieces and jewellery paying tribute to the purity of diamonds as well as to ageless femininity.
Watches
Chopard artisans capture the twinkling of the stars in a new interpretation of L’Heure du Diamant watches. Crafted from ethical 18-carat white or rose gold, their cases are encircled by a crown of 36 diamonds subtly arranged in a flamboyant pattern. The four models in this series are a gentle cocoon, combining the delicacy of mother-of-pearl with the purity of diamonds. Fine, leaf-shaped hands serenely mark off the hours and minutes, punctuated by 12 diamond-set hour-markers. The watch boasting an in-house Chopard 09.01-C movement with a 42-hour power reserve, is offered with a choice of an elegant, sophisticated strap in alligator leather, or bracelet graced with supple, durable gold links.
Jewellery
Two pairs of earrings bring extra sparkle to glamorous evenings thanks to the light touch of the crown setting: the collection’s emblematic gem-setting technique that exalts the beauty of each diamond by inviting light to create infinitely repeated reflections. This expertise makes it possible to design earrings of which the upper section placed on the ear forms a corolla of round-cut diamonds from which a heart motif – a cherished part of Chopard’s identity – is suspended on a first pair of earrings; while the second pair features a pure, feather-light drop shape.
My Happy Hearts
Chopard presents My Happy Hearts collection: jewellery nestling against the skin like intimate and subtle lingerie. A constellation of dainty hearts to be worn alone or stacked as stylish accessories. My Happy Hearts is a gift that we give ourselves, kind, and nurturing, like a gentle bubble through a necklace, a ring, a pair of ear studs and a bracelet in diamond-set ethical 18-carat white gold. My Happy Hearts is available as necklaces, chain bracelets, rings and earrings based on the principle of a single heart. In ethical 18-carat white gold, the heart of each piece of jewellery is set with diamonds. The collection’s rings and earrings are also available with a dancing diamond. The earrings can also be acquired individually: to be worn alone, in groups on one ear or asymmetrically.
Happy Diamonds Joaillerie
Chopard interprets its Happy Diamonds Joaillerie collection through a dazzling pendant. Abandoning a traditional bezel setting for a very precious crown alternative embracing a more generous gem size, diamonds sculpt a majestic heart pendant in ethical 18-carat white gold within which seven Happy Diamonds beat the tempo of perpetual joie de vivre. Each of the stones are selected with the greatest care by limiting the visibility of the setting prongs and guaranteeing maximum exposure to light. The unique dimensions and voluptuously curved feminine shapes of this heart provide an ideal setting for seven dancing diamonds. The pendant is held around the neck by a double chain in ethical 18-carat white gold enhanced with diamonds; Chopard is one of the few jewellers to craft its own chains.
Happy Diamonds Planet
Caroline Scheufele reinterprets Chopard’s lucky dancing diamonds with a new family of bracelets in ethical gold adorned with natural stones. Facing the traditional dancing diamond – which has been performing its thrilling whirls and twirls since its creation by the workshops in 1976 – green agate, blue lapis lazuli, black onyx, and pink rhodochrosite deploy a palette of colours offering infinite combinations to wear in step with individual fancies. The Happy Diamonds Planet bracelets are crafted by the Maison’s artisans in ethical 18-carat rose gold, along with a version in ethical 18-carat white gold, paved with brilliant-cut diamonds whose luminous shimmer evokes the diaphanous glow of the full moon. These creations indeed encapsulate the grandeur of the cosmos. The bead-like forms of the stones and the roundness of these bracelets orchestrate a stunning encounter with the mesmerising beauty of the stars, like a call to contemplate the infinite expanse of the celestial universe.
