Expert Award for A. Lange & Sohne’s LANGE 1

A jury of 51 international watch experts announced A. Lange & Söhne’s mesmerising LANGE 1 timepiece as a “Classic Star 2014.” The iconic watch has been the face of A. Lange & Söhne since 1994, when the first edition was unveiled, since then the model has been revamped for the year 2015 with a new technically evolved manually wound calibre that sits within the same 38.5mm case as the earlier model. However, a small exterior adjustment has been made to the design of the watch that is only visible on closer inspection; the new model adopts a slimmer bezel making the case size seem actually bigger than it really is.
