Jaeger -LeCoultre heads into Mayfair
On the evening of the 12th of May, 2015, luxury watchmaker, Jaeger-LeCoultre welcomed distinguished guests to the housewarming of its flagship boutique in London's Old Bond Street
Setting up shop in the heart of the Capital, Jaeger-LeCoultre hosted a wonderful evening to remember where members of the press intermingled with horology enthusiasts, totalling an impressive 150 bodies nestled into the boutique that was inaugurated with the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon by CEO Daniel Riedo; International Director Jerome Favier; UK Market & Global Strategy Director Zahra Kassim-Lakha; Carmen Chaplin and Eduardo Novillo Astrada.
The Art Deco style has always been a great source of inspiration for Jaeger-LeCoultre, which has been brought to life in all of the brand’s boutiques throughout the world. To underline its British connection, Jaeger-LeCoultre worked closely with renowned Art Deco British interior and furniture designer, Tim Gosling, to create a special, warm ambiance in the Heritage room as well as the more private salon, highlighting Jaeger-LeCoultre’s feminine qualities.
Warm brown tones run throughout the floor space, bringing together the stunning Gosling creations, all made in England using sycamore, gorgeous herringbone wool and tables in bronze and vellum. Meanwhile the exterior of the new boutique has been split into two glass apertures; one is the main door with the prominent brand logo high above the entrance, whilst the other offers a glimpse into the inner workings of the luxurious store with the full brand name emblazoned above the spectators.
