Submersible Tourbillon GMT Luna Rossa Experience Edition
Limited to just 20 pieces, the Submersible Tourbillon GMT Luna Rossa Experience Edition PAM01405 will debut in July 2024 before the America’s Cup finals. Owners of the watch will be invited to partake in a Hublot-curated experience during the America’s Cup finals in Barcelona – including a behind-the-scenes view, unmatched access and engagement with the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team.
The PAM01405 is the first Submersible in 45mm to feature the tourbillon complication and also the first of its kind to marry the complexity of a tourbillon with the futuristic appeal of Carbotech, a composite material based on carbon fibre. It features a 45mm case and houses the hand-wound P.2015/T mechanical calibre. The patented tourbillon completes a horizontal rotation every 30 seconds and rotates perpendicular to the balance wheel. The watch offers a 4-day power reserve, with the indicator on the reverse side, a 24-hour GMT function, a night and day indication, and boasts a water-resistance up to 30 bar (~300 meters).
PAM01405’s bezel is made of titanium, finished with a black DLC-coating, and adorned with white lacquer indexes. An open-worked display shows the watch’s mechanical construction, while the red- and-white accents on the hands and hour markers with blue and green Super-LumiNova on the hour, minutes and bezel facilitate reading diving time or simply legibility in poor lighting conditions. Accompanying the watch are two straps: a Luna Rossa bi-material strap that features a sporty design and a second rubber strap in monochrome black.
