This generous and sophisticated timepiece equipped with screwed-in pushpieces offers guaranteed water resistance to 200m and houses the legendary automatic El Primero calibre operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, making it the world’s most precise series-made chronograph. With 326 components and 50 hours of power reserve, the El Primero Sport also flaunts its oscillating weight that comes with “Côtes de Genève” motif.
Housed in massive 45 mm case, the watch features a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, a caseback in transparent sapphire crystal caseback, hour-markers and hands in Rhodium-plated, faceted and coated with SuperLuminova SLN C1, and dials in slate grey-toned velvet-finish.
The El Primero Sport highlights the hours and minutes in the centre, with small seconds at at 9 o’clock. It also plays home to the central chronograph hand, the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, Tachymetric scale and the date indication at 6 o’clock.
Interpreted in three unusual versions, these El Primero Sport models pay tribute to those who constantly push their limits, driven by their personal passions. One model comes in black rubber strap and stainless steel triple folding clasp, while one is available in brown alligator leather strap with protective rubber lining and stainless steel triple folding clasp.
