Chopard holds a fairy tale evening at Cannes

High jewellery maison Chopard’s traditional grand soirée in Cannes took place in a magical setting that evoked a fairy tale ambience

The sumptuous setting of the Eden Roc hotel, at Cap d’Antibes, was chosen by Caroline Scheufele to present her Haute Joaillerie creations from the Red Carpet Collection and her second Couture collection – 77 one-of-a-kind pieces of Haute Joaillerie and 77 Couture creations in homage to the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The soirée was marked by music, featuring a classical concert by José Carreras and Gautier Capuçon, a dinner magnificently concluded by the disco queen Gloria Gaynor, followed by a party with DJ Martin Solveig.

While the Red Carpet Collection has become an icon among the Haute Joaillerie collections of the Maison, the Caroline’s Couture collection, launched last year, aims to create a harmonious dialogue between jewellery and couture, merging them into a unified silhouette conceived as a whole.

With the sunset and the sea as a backdrop, Maria Borges, followed by 50 models dressed in Caroline’s Couture paired with shoes by iconic footwear brand Casadei, and adorned with Haute Joaillerie creations from the Red Carpet Collection, walked up the avenue in a unique choreographed ballet. To beautifully conclude these moments of grace, Caroline Scheufele asked her friend Eva Herzigova – stunning in her bustier dress and yellow diamond parure – to close the show.
