Tiffany & Co. congratulated the Boston Celtics on their victory at the NBA Finals, winning the iconic Larry O’Brien Trophy. The NBA’s relationship with Tiffany & Co. spans 47 years, with the global luxury jeweller having designed and manufactured the Larry O’Brien Trophy since 1977. In 2022, Tiffany & Co. redesigned the trophy to its current iteration. Crafted from sterling silver with a gold vermeil finish, the trophy evokes a regulation-size basketball before it enters the net. The trophy weighs approximately 30 pounds and stands 25.5 inches in height. The trophy is handcrafted each year at the Tiffany Hollowware Workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
