Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates the 85th anniversary of Reverso at SIHH
About 800 guests and friends of the connoisseur of fine watchmaking Jaeger-LeCoultre gathered at an elegant affair dedicated to the 85th birthday of its iconic Reverso watch
On the 18th of January 2016, in time with the highly anticipated Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), the Swiss luxury brand hosted a special night in Geneva that marked the remarkable history of Reverso as well as unveiled its new collection.
The exclusive event saw the attendance of Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Daniel Riedo and friends of the Brand including Catherine Deneuve, Clive Owen, Carmen Chaplin, Sarah Gadon, Elisa Sednaoui, Hubertos Hohenloe and Eva Riccobono.Meanwhile, the renowned shoe designer Christian Louboutin came as a special guest of honour to share the memorable night with the Maison.
Guests discovered The Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon, a true masterpiece showcasing Jaeger-LeCoultre’s uniquewatchmaking skills and Métiers Rares®. Elegant and sophisticated, this piece houses a movement equipped with an unusual Gyrotourbillon®.
To add to the night’s entertainment, contemporary artist Daniel Wurtzel staged a mesmerising air ballet which entailed two pieces of contrasting fabric that created various shapes, echoing the dual nature of the Reverso watch. While DJ Cerrone set the vibe at the party, guests also enjoyed a nail bar with a range of Christian Louboutin nail polish colours.
