Harry Winston is the star choice for gracing Oscars
During their red carpet appearance at the 88th Academy Awards, Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington looked gorgeous in Harry Winston jewels
The Academy Awards, better known as Oscars, is the most awaited award ceremony in the international entertainment industry. Naturally, the invited guests were expected to wear the best in fashion and jewellery. Over the years, the highly distinguished brand, Harry Winston, has been one of the go-to jewellery brands for the A-list personalities attending the Oscar’s.
During this year’s staging of the 88th edition of the Academy Awards that took place on the 28th of February 2016 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, Harry Winston was the choice of two stunning and award-winning actresses.
The “Mad Max Fury Road” starrer, Charlize Theron, wore a staggering US$ 3.7 million worth of Harry Winston Diamonds to the event. The South African actress, who was a presenter at the award’s night, appeared bewitching in her choice of jewels including the Secret Cluster Diamond Necklace, 48.8 carats, set in platinum; Winston Cluster Diamond Earrings, 15.49 carats, set in platinum; Cushion-Cut Diamond Ring with Micropave, 8.78 carats, set in platinum; Micropave Diamond Band Ring, 0.27 carats, set in platinum; and Queen Diamond Ring, 7.44 carats, set in platinum.
Meanwhile, another presenter at this year’s Oscar’s, Kerry Washington, appeared fabulous in her monochrome floor-sweeping gown and her Vintage Harry Winston Diamonds. The American actress looked dazzling in Vintage 1963 Three Row Diamond Hoop Earrings, 42.54 carats, set in platinum, and Three Row Diamond Carpet Ring, 12.02 carats, set in platinum.
