Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons unveils the return of Dubai Watch Week
The Middle East’s most trusted destination for luxury watches and jewellery, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, announces the dates of the second edition of the highly successful Dubai Watch Week
Dubai Watch Week 2016, the region’s most anticipated horology event, will make its comeback from the 15th until the 19th of November 2016. The event, which saw its undeniably successful debut last year, is organised under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.
The five-day event is a driver to the continuation of the dedication, innovation and achievements in the world of horology while focusing on the culture and history of the watch industry. Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture, said: “It is our hope that the second edition of Dubai Watch Week will serve as an inspiration for industry experts, designers and the public to appreciate the fine art of watchmaking, as well as the design and technological aspects of the world’s trend-setting timepieces.”
The returning edition of Dubai Watch Week will still feature activities that aim to engage the watch community both regionally and internationally through the region’s only dedicated horology event. “Dubai Watch Week has education at the heart of its annual platform, through workshops, discussions, and mentorship opportunities that engage both existing and emerging members of the watch community in topics of both historical and contemporary significance to the industry”, Abdul Hamied Seddiqi, Vice chairman at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, commented.
