Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams Tahitian Pearl
The latest Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams Tahitian Pearl designs feature highly coveted Tahitian cultured pearls. A darker counterpart to the luminous freshwater pearl styles that debuted last year, the new styles featuring Tahitian pearls further underscore Tiffany & Co.’s commitment to crafting exceptional jewellery using precious materials and uplifting the world’s most celebrated artists.
The signature motif of the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection draws inspiration from Poseidon’s trident, a nod to Atlantis, the community in Virginia Beach where Pharrell Williams was raised. A symbol of fearless individuality, the designs juxtapose the spear-like motif with a uniquely shaped link that is curved and soft. The newest expression of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams features high-lustre Tahitian pearls of over 11 mm, each sourced from French Polynesia.
Tahitian pearls are among the most highly valued of all the cultured pearl varieties due to their long culturing time and unique colour. Those included in this collection have a grey body colour, with overtones ranging from green to purple. They are cultivated over a minimum of 18 months in the tropical saltwater lagoons of French Polynesia and possess optimal nacre thickness for beautiful lustre, exhibiting bright and uniform reflections. As no two Tahitian pearls are exactly alike, Tiffany artisans meticulously hand select each pearl for visual uniformity and harmony, as well as adherence to Tiffany & Co.’s stringent quality parameters. Tiffany & Co. believes that responsible pearl sourcing means respecting both the planet and the people who cultivate these treasures.
The new pieces of the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams Tahitian Pearl are offered in five styles, including a pendant, earrings, necklace, bracelet and ring, each crafted in 18k rose gold with pavé diamonds. On the bracelet and necklace, spike rondelles crafted from 18k gold alternate with the pearls for a striking aesthetic. Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams Titan Setting
The newest expression of the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection: the Titan Setting designs reflect Pharrell’s visionary ethos in designs that uplift the unrivalled brilliance of Tiffany diamonds. The Titan Setting features a “Floeting” platform that elevates the diamond above the setting without any prongs or bezels. Devoid of visible metal on top, the diamond appears to hover while maintaining its unrivalled brilliance.
For the next iteration of the Titan story, Pharrell Williams says that he wanted to explore the concept of floating on some of these pieces. The whole collection is a continuation of pulling from the inspiration of Poseidon and the sea. He worked directly with the creative teams at Tiffany to integrate the “Floeting” platform into the setting to give the illusion of that hovering effect.
Tiffany & Co. and Pharrell Williams partnered to incorporate this unique setting into diamond pendants, earrings and a ring, each featuring the Titan collection’s signature spear-shaped motif. On the Titan Setting stud earrings, the diamond seemingly becomes part of the ear. On the earring jacket – which can easily be added or removed from the stud earring – three components culminate with the spear motif, each pointing toward the centre diamond. These elements wrap around the earlobe with diamonds in a fishtail setting, further accentuating the Titan Setting. A multi-shank ring features two diamond bands that are connected to the centre diamond with four Titan spear motifs, emphasising the ‘hovering’ effect.
The diamond is secured in place by a micro-groove that is laser-cut around the underside of the diamond. Artisans cut additional facets below the stone’s pavilion to maintain brilliance and ensure the metal rim is not visible. Every stone is measured and matched with a specific basket that has been cut to the perfect proportions (both diameter and depth) at a micron level to ensure the fit and stability of the diamond.

Tiffany & Co. celebrated the debut of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams Tahitian Pearl and Titan Setting collections by hosting an intimate event at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris. The exclusive evening included a reception followed by an intimate seated dinner. Pharrell Williams and guests including Dua Lipa, Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Anya Taylor-Joy, Taylor Russell, Rachel Sennott, Callum Turner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Paloma Elsesser, Ashley Graham, Arón Piper, Tina Kunakey, Vanetina Ferrer, Caro Daur, Lauren Santo Domingo, Derek Blasberg, Maria Bakalova, Peter Marino, and Marco Mengoni attended the celebration and wore Tiffany & Co. designs.
