Chopard highlights legacy of joy through new Happy Diamonds

The International Day of Happiness on March 20 was established by the United Nations in 2012. Spotlighting Chopard’s own legacy of joy, the Maison introduces enchanting creations in new square Happy Diamonds pendants and the dazzling Happy Sport 36 mm Joaillerie timepiece
This celebration served as the perfect occasion to spotlight Chopard’s own legacy of joy, embodied in its exclusive Happy Diamonds concept — a symbol of Joie de Vivre and free spiritedness since 1976.
The International Day of Happiness, celebrated annually on March 20th, is a global initiative to recognise the importance of happiness and well-being as universal goals. First observed in 2013, this day highlights the enduring belief in a universal force, one that knows no boundaries of language, culture, or generation: happiness.
This aligns with Chopard’s ambition to spark joy in its own way. Thus, the Maison has observed this celebration for years, most notably by presenting animations intended to spread happiness amidst a sea of roses across its boutiques.
To honour the occasion this year, Chopard continues to festoon its boutiques with lush flowers and animations, an ideal setting in which to unveil a radiant addition to its Happy Diamonds Icons collection. This exquisite series of pendants captures the very essence of movement, emotion, and pure elation. The iconic dancing diamonds find their home in a new square design, crafted in ethical 18-carat rose gold, or white gold set with diamond brilliants, complementing the existing beloved heart and round variations.
Furthermore, Chopard introduces the Happy Sport 36 mm Joaillerie timepiece, seamlessly blending jewellery virtuosity with watchmaking expertise, offering an exquisite expression of sport-chic elegance. Crafted in ethical rose gold, its fully diamond-set case and snow-set pink sapphire and diamond-paved bezel create a dazzling display. A shimmering white textured mother-of-pearl dial enhances the design with a touch of natural beauty and iridescence, atop an automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve.
As the world comes together to celebrate the International Day of Happiness, Chopard invites us all to take part in this luminous dance of joy – where the smile induced by dancing diamonds is intended to elicit others, rippling outwards in virtuous contagion. For in the end, happiness – like diamonds – is most dazzling when it is set free.
