Eddie Redmayne attends Opening Night of OMEGA HOUSE in Rio
Oscar-winning actor and brand ambassador Eddie Redmayne was the guest of honour at the Opening Night of OMEGA HOUSE in Rio de Janeiro
On his visit to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Eddie Redmayne joined OMEGA for two special occasions – a very special and unique dinner at the famous Christ the Redeemer statue and the opening night of the brand’s House in Rio.
Redmayne was accompanied by OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann for the dinner, which was exclusively set up directly below the outstretched arms of Rio’s most well-known icon.
Later Redmayne was the guest of honour at the Opening Night of OMEGA HOUSE in Rio de Janeiro. He arrived looking as stylish as ever accompanied by his stunning wife Hannah Redmayne.
As the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games for the 27th time since 1932, OMEGA is proudly celebrating the global sporting event from Casa de Cultura Laura Alvim on Ipanema Beach. Throughout the Olympic Games, the iconic Swiss watch brand will host many not-to-be-missed evenings for invited guests and the destination is sure to become one of the best Rio hotspots this August.
Several notable guests including His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco; legendary Brazilian sailor and OMEGA friend, Torben Grael; Brazilian designer Francisco Costa; and American actress Camilla Belle attended the opening.
Guests can view uniquely themed rooms dedicated to sports timekeeping, space exploration, ocean heritage, ladies’ timepieces and watchmaking innovations. A number of other special events are scheduled throughout the iconic sporting event.
