Harry Winston Diamonds dazzle at the Golden Globes
A number of stars chose to shine in Harry Winston’s Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie creations at the Golden Globes Awards ceremony this year
Every year, there are numerous reports about the Golden Globe Awards – beginning from speculations about who will win what to who will wear what, to reports of who looked how at the actual ceremony. This year, it was Meryl Streep – with her famous speech hitting out at prejudice – who dominated the post-event online and media conversations.
It is no wonder that such a stalwart personality as Meryl Streep – Nominee Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture and Cecil B. DeMille Award Recipient – would choose to adorn herself with lustrous creations such as the Harry Winston Radiant Cut Yellow Diamond Earrings, approx. 13.62 ct set in 18k yellow gold.

Kristen Bell – Presenter for an award – wore more than 115 ct of Harry Winston Diamonds. These included a pair of Vintage 1963 Three Row Diamond Hoop Earrings, 42.54 ct, set in platinum; Secret Combination Diamond Bracelet, 68.57 ct, set in platinum; Stacked Diamond Band Rings, 4.25 ct total, set in platinum; and a Diamond Band Ring, 2.64 ct, set in platinum.
Viola Davis, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, made a glittering appearance in more than 90 ct of Harry Winston Diamonds, comprising a pair of Secret Combination Diamond Hoop Earrings, 18.76 ct, set in platinum; and a Carpet Diamond Bracelet, 74.22 ct, set in platinum.
Thandie Newton – Nominee Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture for TV – glammed up with more than 75 ct of Harry Winston Diamonds. They were a pair of Vintage 1962 Diamond Earrings, 11.84 ct, set in platinum; Bezel Set Fancy-Shape Diamond Necklace, 47.66 ct, set in platinum; Radiant-Cut Diamond Band Ring, 5.25 ct, set in platinum; Round Brilliant Diamond Band Ring, 4.04 ct, set in platinum; and a Round Brilliant Diamond Band Ring, 6.52 ct, set in platinum.
Christian Slater, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture for TV, also chose to go with a Harry Winston’s Haute Horlogerie creation – the Harry Winston Midnight Retrograde Second 42mm Automatic Timepiece in 18k white gold. He chose to set this off with another Harry Winston offering, Diamond Cufflinks, set in 18k white gold.
