François-Paul Journe awarded Hommage au Talent by FHH

Each year, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) distinguishes two personalities whose style and expertise have influenced horology, with the “Hommage au Talent” and “Hommage à la Passion” awards. This year, on March 30, 2017, the Hommage au Talent prize was presented to François-Paul Journe, master watchmaker and founder of the F.P.Journe Manufacture. His earlier honours include Recipient of the Prix Gaïa for best watchmaker, Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres and 6 awards at the grand Prix d’Horlogerie of Geneva. The Hommage à la Passion award was presented to Ludwig Oechslin, erudite horological constructor and author of extraordinary astronomical watches.
