OMEGA starts ninth year as Official Timekeeper of the Diamond League

Watchmaking brand OMEGA will once again act as Official Timekeeper when the opening leg of the IAAF Diamond League takes place on May 4. The Swiss brand will follow the league around the globe, timing the world’s best athletes in 11 different countries. OMEGA has been the Official Timekeeper of the IAAF Diamond League ever since the event was founded in 2010. In addition to its timekeeping and data handling activities at some of the world’s highest-profile sporting events, OMEGA has also been responsible for the development of much of the key technology in sports timing, including the modern starting pistol.
