Audemars Piguet proudly announces Serena Williams as Friend of the Brand

The world’s number one professional female tennis player and winner of 18 Grand Slam singles was revealed to be the luxury watch brand’s newest Friend, shortly before she attended Audemars Piguet’s event at Art Basel Miami Beach on Friday, December 5^th, 2014, for the second consecutive year. The Swiss Haute Horlogerie brand noted that Ms. Williams perfectly embodies its philosophy “To break the rules, you must first master them”, and was elated to welcome her for her first visit at the Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, earlier this year. Serena Williams wore her Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore throughout the 2014 tennis season.
