Barcelona players receive Maurice Lacroix timepieces
Following the recent signing of a three-year partnership with one of the most prestigious football clubs in the world, Maurice Lacroix has become the official watch partner of FC Barcelona
The relationship between the two entities was cemented with the launch of bold and exceptional timepieces, specifically designed with football in mind. Founded in 1899 by Hans Gamper, a Swiss national living in Barcelona, the football team has reached remarkable levels in global popularity, particularly after winning its first European Cup title in 1992, by becoming one of the most revered clubs in the sporting industry.
Known for its prowess, Swiss watchmaker Maurice Lacroix has won ten major awards for its watches in its years of existence. Continuing to grow, the brand relentlessly seeks new and innovative ways of revitalising the horology market and this year has embarked on a new relationship with the sporting industry. In celebration of signing a three-year deal, exciting new models have been presented to its new partners – FC Barcelona players.
These timepieces boast the FC Barcelona crest, which represents values of ambition, quality and precision – the very same philosophies that Maurice Lacroix employ. The new FCB collection consists of four models, starting with the pure and simple Eliros Date that comes in four variations. The second model is the functional Eliros Chronographe, which also is available in four versions. The third model is the sporty Pontos, which is offered in two variations and finally the ultimate expression of high-end watchmaking is the Masterpiece Squelette.
