Blancpain supports the World Ocean Summit

Blancpain renewed and extended its support for the third edition of The Economist Events' World Ocean Summit that took place on the 3^rd of June, 2015, in Cascais, Portugal. The outcome-driven international conference has become a flagship event for The Economist and as a major sponsor, Blancpain is proud of its association with the event that brings together global leaders from government, business, international organizations, NGOs, think-tanks and academia. The third edition of the event featured 70 participants who provided solutions to alleviate the tension between growth and sustainability of the ocean, which resulted in an award going to Liquid Robotics for the Wave Glider, their revolutionary wave powered ocean robot.
