BUBEN&ZORWEG creates a private museum
This year, BUBEN&ZORWEG are celebrating two decades in the global luxury business of interior security systems and watch accessories. Production highlights include luxury safes constructed to house a collection of up to 100 precious timepieces, which also serve as a humidor, bar, weather station and music system, and elaborate Objects of Time® watch wardrobe which incorporates the latest watch winding technology.

BUBEN&ZORWEG also create collectibles such as limited edition tourbillon clocks or timepieces that are crafted in the brand’s atelier d’horlogerie. The luxury empire spans globally in over 100 countries with seven standalone boutiques and over 25 in-shop boutiques, has collaborated with Aston Martin and counts heads of state, royals, athletes and Hollywood stars amongst its loyal clients.
Private Museum
Own your very own Private Museum with this German masterpiece from BUBEN&ZORWEG. The high-security bulletproof, fire-resistant and explosion proof glass is engineered to shield objects of art, watches and other rare collector’s pieces from harm and comes in a choice of crystal clear or two-way mirror spy glass that is 22mm thick. Creative innovation merged with precision technology activate silent powered motors that vertically lower the glass for ease of access, where an invisible laser grid then takes over the job of safeguarding the contents and immediately raises the alarm to warn of unauthorized access. A VdS-certified locking system with biometric fingerprint identification completes the unique, luxurious character of the Private Museum. To add a touch of personalisation, the safe is available with the latest developed HiFi system with a rated output of 2,500 watts and a bespoke interior that measures 800 x 1280mm, which is lined with the finest black velour.
X-treme 007
The X-treme 007 is the next generation of world class high-security technology, weighing in at 580kg and measuring 1246 x 798 x 665mm in dimensions. This unique creation allows the handle of the safe to light up when touched, revealing the access point to the safe’s contents as the lid lifts upwards to expose the interior. Valuables are protected by a two-way mirror spy glass that ensures maximum protection, as well as the high-security German certification, VdS II, where the patented safe wall is constructed from RELASTAN® and is secured with a PAXOS® compact locking system. The safe is completed with two front drawers and side drawers that can be used to store jewellery, documents or any other valuable items, and hand polished stainless steel applications. Personalisation is possible, where the owner has a choice to alter the design of the quilted leather, the colours, and the ratio of leather to multi-layered and the shimmering piano lacquer.
Galaxy Safe Line
BUBEN&ZORWEG has unveiled a surprising new line of secure safes that are available in four different sizes and two versions – Pearl White and Black Stardust. Each piece is certified with a German security standard VdS I, and boasts an expressive modern design that marries leather and lacquer in a unique piece that resembles an Art Deco ornament rather than an actual safe with the vital function of protecting assets.
One of the models is the Galaxy XL, which features a standard 8 TIME MOVER® with five drawers and additional storage space, but can be customised to fit either a 16 TIME MOVER® with three drawers and additional storage space or a 24 TIME MOVER® with one drawer and additional storage space. The safe measures dimensions of 1362 x 637 x 547mm, weighing in at 300kg and is completed with silver handles that add perfect detailing to the quilted exterior.
For ladies who enjoy keeping valuables to hand, the Galaxy Tabletop is a miniature version of the XL and is perfect for everyday use, weighing in at 85kg. Crafted in a pearl white or black leather, measuring 480 x 529 x 460mm in dimensions, the VdS certified safe is equipped with stainless steel bolts and 2 TIME MOVER® with two drawers that can be personalised with one large drawer.
The imposing Galaxy XXL is truly formidable measuring 1772 x 637 x 547mm in dimensions and 380kg in weight. The exterior is crafted from the finest Italian nappa leather with diamond-stitching and high-gloss lacquer where the doors feature hand-polished stainless steel handles. The German electronic locking system gives way to the richest black velour that lines the interior of the safe, where multiple personalisation options are available instead of the standard 8 TIME MOVER® with five drawers at various inserts and five drawers as universal. State-of-the-art LED lighting with fading technology highlights the valuable contents, and is especially ideal for the optional Gun Collectors Edition, where there is ample space for five rifles and six handguns and an additional compartment for ammunition.
Quantum HiFi
Some people just don’t do quiet when they spend time with their collections of pride and joy. For this reason, the Quantum HiFi was created, which enables the sound of music to be appreciated at a level that suits the listener. A total of 400 watts power the overpowering dynamics of the mono high-end loudspeaker that is specifically positioned on top of a silver cylindrical column. Wireless, it is free from cables as the signals are transferred via WLAN or Bluetooth from various sources and the technology boasts a four-way speaker system. Features include; an automatic voltage detection of 115-230 V, automatic sleep mode and output stage activation, a frequency range of 25 – 25,000 Hz and a digital and active audio crossover.
One Dual Time
One of the slimmest timepieces to have been produced by BUBEN&ZORWEG, the One Dual Time is compact and elegant. Powered by a 3923A calibre that measures 30.4mm in diameter, the movement consists of 30 jewels and boasts a power reserve of 65 hours, whilst humming steadily at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Available in a polished 18 carat rose gold or a stainless steel case, the watch measures 44mm in diameter and houses a white dial that illustrates the local time in hours and minutes, while the second time zone is displayed on a sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position. Both versions are limited editions to 99 pieces and 250 pieces respectively and are completed with a genuine alligator leather strap.
