Bvlgari adds sparkle to the Golden Globe Awards
The glamour quotient of the Golden Globe Awards was heightened by the presence of numerous stars and fashionistas who chose to array themselves in Bvlgari creations
Glamour ruled the day at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on January 8, 2017, when the best in film and American television of 2016 were honoured at the Golden Globe Awards.
Adding further glitter and sparkle to the air was the fact that a number of stars chose to accessorise with high jewellery pieces and high complication watches from the maison of Bvlgari. Presenters Zoe Saldana, Laura Dern, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan all elected to wear Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie pieces from Bvlgari on this exceptional evening.
The iconic Octo watch from the marque was the accessory of choice for Colin Farrell, who was nominated for the Best Actor (film comedy/musical) for his role as David in “The Lobster”; American actor Justin Hartley, best known for his role in the nominated TV series “This is Us”; and Jeff Bridges, nominated as Best Supporting Actor (film); also chose to sport different editions of the Octo.
Sophia Stallone, daughter of actor Sylvester Stallone and this year’s Miss Golden Globe, alongside her two sisters, stunned in a Serpenti set from Bvlgari. Carly Steel, the red-carpet correspondent from “Entertainment Tonight” dazzled in a High Jewellery Serpenti necklace while interviewing celebrities upon their arrival on the red carpet.
