Bvlgari has reopened its refurbished flagship store at the Dubai Mall, where the modern design concept of the boutique draws from the timeless beauty of Rome
Overlooking the ground floor of the iconic Grand Atrium with its modern vibe, the new façade echoes the aesthetic language of Bvlgari Tubogas, the iconic jewellery line synonymous with bold craft and timeless style.
As if walking through an Italian piazza, visitors entering the store are greeted by a large atrium, framed by a succession of travertine marble columns, a stone entrenched in Rome’s identity. The space is surmounted by an imposing dome, inspired by the famed coffered ceiling and light-capturing oculus of Rome’s Pantheon.
A central gallery displaying High Jewellery creations offers access to a series of rooms housing jewellery, watches, leather goods, accessories and fragrances collections, as well as to private lounges. A showstopping, undulating Murano-glass chandelier, crafted by the famed Italian glassmaker and designer Venini, is the focal point of the space and evokes the sinuous signature lines of Serpenti like a magnificent jewel.
Two special one-of-a-kind collections were unveiled on the occasion. The Serpenti Mandarin Garnet Flame set in yellow gold – made of three unique creations echoing the stunning light of Rome through the precious nuances of mandarin garnets – was showcased for high jewellery, while an exclusive capsule collection of three High Jewellery Mini Top Handle bags enriches the High-End assortment.
The refurbished flagship store will also host a new stage of the ‘Eternally Reborn’ exhibition, which debuted in Rome’s DOMVS this year.
