Bvlgari steps in to help fight Coronavirus

Due to a donation made by Bvlgari to the Research Department of the Lazzaro Spallanzani Hospital in Rome, a new 3D microscope was installed on March 6 in the Research laboratories of the Del Vecchio Pavilion, at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases. The new state-of-the-art microscopic image acquisition system represents a fundamental tool for research that will lead to the prevention and treatment of the virus. The ceremony was attended by Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin, Bvlgari Executive Vice President of Sales & Retail Lelio Gavazza, the General Manager of Spallanzani, Marta Branca and the virologists Maria Rosaria Capobianchi, Francesca Colavita, and Concetta Castilletti – who were the first in Italy to isolate the virus.
