Bvlgari’s “Tribute to Femininity” exhibits in Russia

Haute joaillerie maison Bvlgari has had, and continues to have, a love affair with women that has lasted for more than 130 years. Now Bvlgari and the Moscow Kremlin Museums are celebrating the retrospective exhibition “BVLGARI – Tribute to Femininity” that opened to the public on September 7. Magnificent jewels, captivating video installations and amazing pictures celebrate women who wrote their own rules and chose Bvlgari jewels as an embodiment of their personality

For its first exhibit in Russia, Bvlgari has assembled an impressive selection of more than 500 jewels from its Heritage Collection and from private collections. The stunning anthology narrates the pioneering evolution of Bvlgari’s creations in parallel to the evolving taste of women through the decades.

Hosted by the General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina, together with Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin and Bvlgari Brand and Heritage Curator Lucia Boscaini, the inaugural press conference was held in the imposing Patriarch’s Palace, one of the two buildings where the exhibition unfolds. In the evening, VIP guests, socialites and international press gathered at the iconic Pashkov House to enjoy an authentic Roman night in the name of the joyful Bvlgari spirit. Crooner Matteo Brancaleoni, one of the most brilliant Italian jazz singers, gave guests the best songs of his repertoire followed by the enticing DJ set of Graziano della Nebbia.

Guests included Paolo and Maite Bulgari with their daughters Carlota and Marina, Bvlgari brand ambassadors Alicia Vikander, Eva Green, Shu Qi, Lady Kitty Spencer, Princess Lilly Zu Sayn Wittgenstein, Ornella Muti, Svetlana Khodchenkova and digital influencers Helena Bordon, Giorgia Tordini, Gilda Ambrosio, Kristina Bazan and Caroline Daur.

The exhibition includes stunning jewels rarely seen in public from renowned private collections such as the Elizabeth Taylor Collection, the Anna Magnani Collection, the Anita Ekberg Collection, Gina Lollobrigida’s jewels – including her fabled “Seven Wonders” necklace in platinum with emeralds and diamonds – from various collections, the Princess Torlonia’s Tiara, and other iconic creations from the brand over the decades.

“BVLGARI – Tribute to Femininity” is on display on the ground floor of the Assumption Belfry and on the ground floor of the Patriarch’s palace, and will run until January 13, 2019.
