Cate Blanchett’s bespoke Louis Vuitton high jewellery at Cannes emphasises circular creativity
Cate Blanchett attended the premiere of “The Apprentice” wearing a bespoke Louis Vuitton High Jewellery creation, crafted in repurposed metal, pearls, and precious stones, underscoring the actress and Maison’s shared commitment towards circular creativity. Conceptualised by Blanchett and Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Watches and Jewellery, Francesca Amfitheatrof, this exceptional, repurposed High Jewellery necklace was crafted for Blanchett’s Cannes appearance, five months after her High Jewellery dressing at the BAFTA ceremony in February 2024. Pushing the boundaries of circular creativity, this new design recovers 49 white Akoya and 33 grey Tahitian pearls, as well as 633 diamonds from three of the Maison’s previous High Jewellery designs.
