This year, the marque is celebrating the golden anniversary of the moon landing and, of course, the Speedmaster – in multiple avatars – is playing the lead role. OMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 11 – 50th Anniversary Limited Edition of 6,969

This new edition comes in a 42 mm case of stainless steel and a polished bezel of 18K Moonshine gold – a new patent-pending alloy. The bezel ring is of polished black ceramic with a radiant OMEGA Ceragold tachymeter scale. The watch is powered by the new OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, is resistant to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss, and reaches the Master Chronometer standard. The NASA-style presentation box holds an additional Velcro strap and memorabilia evoking the historic spaceflight.

OMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 11 – 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Moonshine Gold of 1,014

Evoking the BA 145.022, the case, bracelet, dial, hour-markers and hour-minute hands of this edition are of 18K Moonshine Gold, and is powered by the OMEGA Master Co-Axial Calibre 3861. The polished-and-brushed 42mm-case features the iconic asymmetrical casebands and twisted lugs, a burgundy bezel ring in ceramic, and a tachymeter scale in OMEGA Ceragold, with a “Dot Over 90”. The vertically brushed dial is of solid gold with facetted black onyx indexes set in polished hour-markers, with black varnished indicators. The outer caseback ring and inner ring feature unique mechanically engraved markings. A domed lunar meteorite inlay representing the Moon is set into the cavity of the inner ring.

OMEGA Speedmaster Moonphase Platinum-Gold

This impressive Moonphase model uses platinum-gold for the brushed-and-polished 44.25 mm case, the sand-blasted dial, and clasp of the blue leather strap. The bezel ring is of polished blue ceramic and includes a brushed platinum Liquidmetal tachymeter scale. The dial features 18K white gold index holders set with baguette-cut diamonds, and blackened hands. The moonphase features a blue ceramic disc with two moons of platinum Liquidmetal. The OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9905, with the rotor and balance bridge in 18K Sedna gold, is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.
