Chopard celebrates 2020 Breakthrough Prize

Silicon Valley’s Breakthrough Prize Foundation recognised the outstanding achievement of individuals in the fields of Life Sciences, Fundamental Physics, and Mathematics in a ceremony held at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, on November 5, 2019. Maison Chopard partnered with the foundation to create special jewellery pieces for the 2020 laureates; these will also be awarded to all previous and future Breakthrough Prize laureates, as well as junior researchers honoured with the New Horizons Prize. Chopard presented the winners with exceptional pairs of earrings, or cufflinks and pins. Crafted of ‘Fairmined’-certified 18ct white ethical gold, the array features dancing blue sapphires, yellow sapphires and tsavorites. Models Adriana Lima and Karlie Kloss attended the Prize Ceremony wearing jewellery by Chopard.
