Chopard celebrates new line in Sunset Garden
The unveiling of the new Chopard collection took place in the shadow of Dubai’s famous landmark in the magical setting of the Sunset Garden
Not even the early morning sandstorm could dampen the celebratory spirit that Chopard managed to summon from excited guests, who gathered at the Burj Al Arab to preview the new Imperiale Jewellery collection on the 12th of March, 2015. Together with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, Chopard hosted a sneak peek at new novelties and fine jewellery that sparkled under the mid-day sun.
Designed for women, the contemporary elegance of the Imperiale watch collection attracts attention to its fine lines and refined detailing which asserts itself as the natural choice for daring women interested in the world of history. Elegant Roman numerals dominate the dial, while the elongated diamond-shaped hands are reminiscent of the tapered daggers used by sovereigns in battle, long ago in the Roman era. The shape of the lugs are designed to reflect the tradition of ancient columns famed for their perfectly balanced proportions. To complete the stunning timepiece, a diamond-set crown delicately curved like a lotus flower is fitted on the side of the case.
The eminently feminine jewellery line radiates refined sophistication, with an exquisite set of arabesque motifs that overlap amethysts in majestic purple – the imperial colour since Byzantine times. Present throughout the entire Imperiale watch and jewellery collection, this motif infuses the line with its strength of character and regal bearing.
