Chopard celebrates Ramadan in Kuwait
Haute joaillerie and horlogerie maison Chopard, along with partner Trafalgar, invited its guests to share the joy of Ramadan during the annual Ghabga gathering held in June at Dar Hamad
Inspired by the deep-rooted culture of Kuwait, Dar Hamad was transformed into a traditional house decorated with ethnic handcrafted sadu that artistically portrays the Arabian cultural heritage, thus creating a very traditional yet distinctive Chopard Ramadan gathering.
A wide array of Chopard High Jewellery, jewellery, and timepieces for ladies and gents from the delicate Imperiale collection as well as the dazzling Ice Cube collection and the reverie-inspired Happy Dreams pieces were on display, as were some unique L’Heure du diamant timepieces. Flagship gents’ models from the L.U.C collection – such as the L.U.C GMT One, the L.U.C Time Traveller One, the Mille Miglia Chronograph, and the Mille Miglia GTS Chrono – were also showcased.
Unique wooden-built booths also displayed traditional objects from patterned boxes embellished with gold Arabic ornaments to a pile of handmade pottery. Guests admired the live-crafting of clay pots showing the art of the potter as well as the box-maker’s exceptional woodworking technique, which reflected the traditional lifestyle.
The ladies also enjoyed the beautiful henna designs created on their hands by a talented artist. The oriental ambiance was further enhanced by live oud melodies.
