Chopard: The fruit of luxury

French actress, Marion Cotillard, was nominated in the Best Actress category for the Academy Awards that took place on the 22^nd of February, 2015 for her exceptional performance in ‘Two Days, One Night’. Dressed in a voluminous white Dior dress at the Critics’ Choice Awards, Cotillard, a previous spokesperson for Greenpeace, wore a chunky Apple Ring from Chopard’s High Jewellery Collection, featuring tsavorites, emeralds and brown diamonds set in 18k rose gold and 18k white gold. The statement piece reiterated the artist’s passion for the environment and stood as a symbol to remind the inhabitants of Earth that nature is fragile and needs protection.
