Chopard unveils Garden of Kalahari at Paris

Chopard unveiled the mesmerising Garden of Kalahari collection at the Théâtre du Châtelet, in Paris, on January 21, 2017. The Garden of Kalahari is born from an exceptional 342-carat rough diamond of perfect colour and absolute purity, the Queen of Kalahari. The story of the Queen of Kalahari, documented in a movie by Alexis Veller, was shown for the first time. Later, Dame Shirley Bassey appeared on the stage to perform her famous hit “Diamonds are Forever”. Caroline Scheufele, co-president of Chopard, thanked her for her presence and performance. Several stars including Christoph Waltz, Kirsten Dunst, Isabelle Huppert, and others appeared at the event.
