Chopard unveils Valentine’s Day creations
Chopard Valentine’s Day creations
Chopard Valentine’s Day creations: Chopard, the alchemist of the heart, has debuted its selection of original creations for Valentine’s Day.
This day celebrating love provides the watchmaker-jeweller with a renewed opportunity to express its creative genius and its alchemist’s touch. By transforming matter into precious talismans, Chopard becomes the messenger of the most beautiful declarations
In addition to being a symbol of life and love, the heart is also Chopard’s emblem. Happy Diamonds Icons, Happy Hearts and the Haute Joaillerie collection are all fields of expression for the magic of the heart in which Chopard artisans are true virtuosos.
Time is nothing if it is not measured by the emotions that give it depth and scope. Aptly enough, the Maison also crafts exceptional timepieces through its L.U.C and Mille Miglia collections.
Happy Diamonds Icons
Chopard presents a universal heart: a motif uniting all those whose generosity and kindness infuse heart-felt impulses with true nobility. The Chopard heart corresponds to an emotional wave that unfurls, lighting up daily life with its brightness and exuding the scent of eternity while reflecting the mood of the moment.
This heart is revealed in all its majesty through an enchantingly multi-faceted collection: Happy Diamonds Icons. A series of diamond-set or polished hearts interpreted as pendants, earrings and rings, available in 18-carat rose or white gold, in which dancing diamonds move freely between two sapphire crystals. On the pendants, five dancing diamonds whirl inside this pulsating heart, while three dancing diamonds adorning the earrings light up the wearer’s face from either side. The entirely diamond-set rings also feature the same delightful sight of three dancing diamonds.
Happy Diamonds Joaillerie
Since 1976 and the invention of the first Happy Diamonds watch, dancing diamonds have been merrily lighting up Chopard’s watch and jewellery creations. This historical timepiece now comes in a splendid interpretation measuring 28.60 mm in diameter. Crafted in 18-carat rose gold and set with diamonds, the Happy Diamonds Joaillerie watch frames a dainty white textured mother-of-pearl dial whose shimmering reflections echo the magic of five dancing diamonds moving freely between two sapphire crystals. Their light and free-spirited demeanour evokes the imperturbable cheerfulness of carefree lovers.
Chopard Happy Hearts
A token of love and a lucky charm, the Happy Hearts line exudes the aura of a talisman. Far more than mere pieces of jewellery, Chopard creations are a link between oneself and the world, as well as with the precious moments testifying to these cherished relations. The collection is now enriched with new 18-carat rose gold earrings and rings mingling adorable bouquets of hearts carrying dancing diamonds, red hearts and hearts set with white mother-of-pearl or mother-of-pearl and diamonds.
The choice of Happy Hearts jewellery is that of a big-hearted woman, an everyday heroine who sees in the Maison’s commitments an echo of her own generosity. Inspired by the idea that attention to one’s personal needs and desires must never be detrimental to others, big-hearted women find in Happy Hearts creations a sense of genuine consistency with their own value system, inextricably interwoven with a desire for self-giving.
Happy Hearts watch
Chopard enriches the collection with this new timepiece. Fitted with a 36 mm stainless steel case and a red alligator leather strap, the Happy Hearts watch features a white dial with a life of its own created by five dancing elements: three diamonds, and above all, both a red and a diamond-set 18-carat white gold heart. This sparkling array stages a truly stunning show on the Happy Hearts dial, conferring the ultimate privilege of observing your watch not merely to tell the time but essentially to admire the incredible ballet performed by these dancing lucky charms.
Haute Joaillerie
Caroline Scheuefele’s favourite gem shape, the heart shape, is highlighted in the latest Haute Joaillerie creations to emerge from the dedicated ateliers. The co-president and artistic director of the Maison selected a precious assortment of 54 diamonds whose clarity is magnified by this distinctive shape. Each of these gems is a token of love, an embodiment of the emotions procured by the power of love. Arranged in descending order of size starting with the largest placed in the centre, they are assembled into a stunning river of diamonds totalling over 62 carats, which will delight the heart of any woman in love fortunate enough to wear them.
A matching 18-carat white gold solitaire ring showcases another 7.5-carat heart-shaped diamond appearing as the centrepiece of an original design. Mounted on a sinuously curving ring entirely set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the stone glows with inimitable radiance.
L.U.C XPS
The L.U.C XPS, with its ultra-slim case housing a movement with automatic winding via a micro-rotor, exceptionally rare dial and distinguished allure, has been repeatedly interpreted through new versions, consistently imbued with the inherent elegance of Chopard chronometers. Today, the new L.U.C XPS appears in an iteration that is purer and more refined than ever, with a black dial and an 18-carat white gold case featuring the characteristic finishes of the L.U.C collection. Its L.U.C 96.12-L calibre, developed and assembled within Chopard Manufacture, boasts a 65-hour power reserve and has been chronometer-certified by the COSC.
Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio Speciale
For more than 30 years, Chopard and the Mille Miglia have formed a legendary sporting couple along the route of “the most beautiful race in the world”, as Enzo Ferrari loved to call it. The Maison is thus presenting a sporty new interpretation within its emblematic collection: the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio Speciale. Born of Karl-Friedrich Scheufele’s passion for classic racing cars, this grey-clad model is joining the Mille Miglia GTS collection launched in 2015 and inspired by the legendary Italian rally for which the Maison serves as official timekeeper. Sleek aesthetics and technical excellence combine to make this watch an exclusive timepiece powered by a Chopard movement: the 01.08-C calibre, and chronometer-certified by the COSC. With its “Rossa Corsa” red, grey and black details, its oversized numerals evoking a 1950s car dashboard and its Cordura fabric strap, the new Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio Speciale, issued in a 1,000-piece limited edition, perpetuates the Classic Racing spirit in which Chopard flourishes with such panache.
Ice Cube leather goods
The quintessential qualities of the block of ice that inspired the Ice Cube watches and jewellery are reflected in the eponymous leather goods collection: vibrant luminosity, pure lines and inimitably natural style. The collection welcomes two original black and metal-toned models. Box calfskin has been chosen to enhance their pure, edgy lines. The perfectly smooth surface of this material reflects light in the same ways as Ice Cube jewellery with its multiple facets.
Men’s accessories
Chopard introduces two new pieces intended for contemporary gentlemen. The first is a navy-blue calfskin briefcase with a large interior compartment and two side pockets, which can be carried by hand or on the shoulder thanks to the optional leather shoulder strap. Finally, to complement an outfit with a detail that is both discreet and elegant, Chopard offers a pair of new steel and black lacquer cufflinks bearing the Maison’s initial that gives a final touch of distinction.
