Dior’s new Grand Bal Broderie Florale combines haute couture and horology

First launched in 2012, the Dior Grand Bal collection pays tribute to Christian Dior’s passion for balls and haute couture dresses. Now the marque has unveiled the new Grand Bal Broderie Florale, a veritable garden on a dial
The swirl of a ball gown is reproduced by the movement of the oscillating weight on the dial side of the watch thanks to the “Dior Inversé” calibre. Adorned with exotic materials and vibrant stones, the dial reinterprets the refinement of an evening gown, blending haute couture artistry with horological innovation.
The feminine and precious oscillating weight of the new Grand Bal Broderie Florale is a true masterpiece of fine craftsmanship. Made from white gold and platinum, it takes the delicate shape of a net, showcasing meticulous and precise artistry.
Its brilliance is enhanced by an exquisite setting of diamonds and pink sapphires, adding a radiant sparkle and a uniquely feminine touch. Finally, the meticulous polishing of the white gold perfects the reflection of light, revealing the full splendour of this exceptional piece of craftsmanship.
