Girard-Perregaux adds two new editions of Laureato

Girard-Perregaux’s Laureato adds two steel versions of the Laureato 38 mm, one executed in Sage Green and the other in Midnight Blue. These new references are slender, while the bracelets are optimally designed to envelop the arm and incorporate several Laureato signature elements, including baton-type hands and indexes with luminescent treatment, a Clous de Paris dial, and a colour-coordinating date display at 3 o’clock. The GP logo gracing the Sage Green dial is presented in a rich golden hue, a colour that is also repeated on the centre seconds hand. In the Midnight Blue version, the GP logo and centre seconds hand are presented in a cool shade of silver. Each dial, courtesy of its three-dimensional textured surface, wonderfully plays with light. From some angles the Sage Green dial appears grey, whereas the Midnight Blue dial sometimes assumes an intense shade of royal blue. At the heart of both watches sits a Manufacture movement, the GP03300 calibre. Made at the company’s production facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the self-winding movement features a pink gold oscillating weight is adorned with circular Côtes de Genève motif, while additional movement refinements include a variety of finishings.
