Golfing stars join OMEGA for launch of ‘Ultra Light’ watch

As the OMEGA Masters opened in end-August, the iconic title sponsor released its new Seamaster Aqua Terra “Ultra Light”, which features an incredibly lightweight and innovative design, when it was worn by OMEGA’s top golfers, Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Tommy Fleetwood. The three each sported the watch in their own chosen colour – red, green or blue. Rory McIlroy was able to see the final “Ultra Light” design, after collaborating closely with the product development team during its creation. When presented on its sporty fabric strap, the watch weighs just 55g, with its case, caseback and crown fashioned from an alloy called Gamma Titanium.
