Harry Winston glitters at amfAR’s New York Gala

The house of Harry Winston was not only the event’s Presenting Sponsor but was also the choice accessory for the celebrities that evening

Haute Joaillerie brand Harry Winston was a presenting sponsor for amfAR’s star-studded New York Gala 2017, a fundraising event and the official kick-off to New York Fashion Week. The Gala is held to benefit the organisation’s research programmes and platforms for raising awareness of HIV/AIDS.

Actresses Scarlett Johansson and Donatella Versace, who were honoured at the event for their outstanding contributions to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS, were presented with the limited-edition Harry Winston Countdown to a Cure Timepiece – a collection of 20 men’s and 20 women’s models, designed in honour of the partnership between Harry Winston and amfAR.  Retailing for $21,200 for the men’s timepiece, and $16,200 for the women’s, the Countdown to a Cure Timepiece is sold exclusively at Harry Winston salons, with 20 per cent of the retail sales price from each piece benefitting amfAR.

Jewellery creations from Harry Winston adorned Scarlett Johansson, who wore a pair of Winston Cluster Diamond Earrings, 16.15 carats, set in platinum; and Ellie Goulding, who chose a pair of Winston Cluster Diamond Line Earrings, 12.91 carats, set in platinum; a Winston Cluster Diamond Bracelet, 21.14 carats, set in platinum; and a Traffic Diamond Ring, 1.52 carats, set in platinum.

Victoria Justice was seen wearing a Forget-Me-Not Diamond Lariat Necklace, 16.73 carats, set in platinum; a pair of Forget-Me-Not Diamond Earrings, 1.74 carats, set in platinum; and a Sunflower Diamond Ring, 1.74 carats, set in platinum.
