Harry Winston supports the charitable cause of amfAR’s New York Gala
In conjunction with its three-year partnership with the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) that began in January 2015, Harry Winston, Inc. served as a presenting sponsor for amfAR’s New York Gala 2016
On the occasion of the annual fundraising event to benefit the amfAR’s research programs and platforms for raising awareness of HIV/AIDS, Harry Winston hosted a star-studded affair on the 10th of February 2016 in Cipriani Wall Street, New York City.
During the event, Harry Winston auctioned off a pair of Diamond Links Earrings, presented by the supermodel Karolina Kurkova, and unveiled the Harry Winston Countdown to a Cure Timepiece, a limited edition collection designed in honour of the second year of partnership between Harry Winston and amfAR.
Retailing for US$21,200 for the men’s timepiece, and US$16,200 for the women’s, the Countdown to a Cure Timepiece will be sold exclusively at Harry Winston salons worldwide, with 20% of the retail sales price from each limited-edition timepiece benefitting amfAR’s efforts to develop the scientific basis of a cure for HIV by 2020.
In addition to serving as the night’s presenting sponsor, Harry Winston jewels adorned actress Diane Kruger who chose to wear the open cluster diamond earrings and the stacked diamond band rings, both set in platinum. Supermodel Coco Rocha also attended in stunning Harry Winston lotus cluster diamond earrings and diamond links bracelet, both set in platinum.
Harry Winston’s support for amfAR marks not only its expanding presence, but also its increased philanthropic commitment to vital causes that continue to affect millions of people worldwide.
