HM6 ‘Space Pirate’ wins Red Dot prize

The Horological Machine No.6 (HM6) ‘Space Pirate’ by MB&F has won over the 38-member jury of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015. In each of the four corners of the biomorphic case is a 360° transparent sapphire crystal dome that protects the hours, minutes and twin spherical turbines that are powered by a three-dimensional horological engine. It is this remarkable exterior that has proved its design excellence in the most important competition, which is celebrating its 60^th anniversary this year. From 4,928 participants, MB&F’s HM6 Space Pirate demanded the most attention and as a result was awarded the Red Dot: Best of the Best for top quality and innovative design.
