Hublot creates the exclusive Classic Fusion “Lady Dubai”

Renowned Swiss watch brand Hublot crafts a special edition timepiece that celebrates the ladies in Dubai

In conjunction with the International Women’s Day in March, Hublot and Dubai partners Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons celebrated women in Dubai with the launch of their latest special timepiece: The Classic Fusion “Lady Dubai” 38mm.

The launch immersed press members in the morning, then an exclusive group of trendy ladies from Dubai in the afternoon, in a colourful atmosphere reflecting the watch’s spirit and design; at the end of a colour-animated, mysterious tunnel, “Lady Dubai” dawned upon guests through a hologram that revealed the long-awaited timepiece. A well-seasoned gemstone setter patiently assembled the stones on the bezel in front of the audience, demonstrating Hublot’s creativity and precision, and its link between tradition -through the old craft of stone setting- and innovation -with the stone’s colours and shapes.

The second “Lady Dubai” edition follows the success of its predecessor, which was launched in 2009. While the first “Lady Dubai” was dressed in white, with a rainbow-coloured bezel set with semi-precious stones, the 2016 edition boasts an 18 carat King Gold case and bezel, embellished with “neige” random-cut red spinels, orange sapphires, yellow sapphires, tsavorites, blue sapphires and amethysts, set by the most experienced jewellers in Switzerland. The blue, sunray satin-finished dial matches the blue alligator strap, adding radiance to the watch.

Created by Hublot exclusively for its customers and those of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, this unique timepiece is limited to thirty watches and will be available in Dubai only.
