In time for the summer, Hublot is debuting the world’s most popular colour, blue, which symbolises new horizons, kindles a desire to get away and inspires new avenues for exploration. A shimmering sky lends a light, playful hint of freedom to the ceramic of the case. Ceramic, a material in which Hublot has become an expert. In 2019, Hublot created brightly coloured ceramic in a patented world first. Since then, the brand has had almost every Pantone colour at its disposal. The Big Bang Unico Sky Blue has turned this feat of innovation into the new go-to material.
The dial, like a cloudless sky, reveals the column wheel of the HUB1280 manufacture calibre, a self-winding chronograph movement with a 72-hour power reserve. As its Unico manufacture movement gently tracks the easy passage of time, the Big Bang Unico Sky Blue evokes a sense of brightness and timelessness. The white luminescent hands and indices, which appear suspended, mark the hours spent in joyous reunions.
The brand’s six iconic screws stand out against the blue of the bezel, which is also made from polished and satin-finished ceramic. Developed using the brand’s unique processes to produce this exclusive colour and unrivalled comfort, this high-tech material is hypoallergenic and adapts to the temperature of the skin.
