Hublot’s amazing Oceanographic 4000 Cheval Blanc Randheli Special Edition
Made of titanium, with luminescent indexes in Cheval Blanc Randheli yellow, this watch withstands the pressure exerted at the extreme depth of 4,000 m – indeed a diver’s dream
Cheval Blanc Randheli, the new second Cheval Blanc Maison, is an intimate and contemporary haven for the most demanding clientele, on the unspoiled Noonu Atoll in the Maldives. Hublot pays tribute to the beauty of the site, the refined and elegant Maison conceived in synergy with the island's natural surroundings and lagoon, by unveiling a special diver’s watch, only available at Cheval Blanc Randheli.
The Oceanographic 4000, a watch that can be worn on dives to depths of 4,000 metres, is the result of 18 months of research, development and testing. The Oceanographic 4000 has exceptional features, in terms of design, development and manufacturing.
To ensure that the timepiece is watertight and water-resistant at this extreme pressure, the synthetic sapphire crystal is 6.5 thick. The case back is screw-down, and as the case is made of grade 2 titanium, it is light on the wrist – although its diameter of 48 mm and its volume is substantial. For easier legibility from a distance of 25 cm in the dark, the dial, the flange and the hands of the Oceanographic 4000 have a larger surface area treated with SuperLuminova, a luminescent material emitting a yellow colour.
The watch has a power reserve of 42 hours, has an engraved Cheval Blanc Randheli signature and is a limited series of only 20 numbered pieces.
