Jaquet Droz fuses historic aesthetics in contemporary timepiece

Swiss watchmaker Jaquet Droz presents its legacy with a modern timepiece: The Grande Heure Minute Quantième. The contemporary watch has thin stainless steel case, three central hands and date window at 6 o'clock that displays the last day of the month in colour red. Keeping with the brand's codes, it features blued steel or rhodium-plated Lancine-shaped hands, red-tipped seconds hand, rhodium-treated indexes, sunray crown and box crystal. The JD1150P silicon spiral movement powers the watch while its openworked rotor is admired through the exhibition case-back. The Grande Heure Minute Quantième is available in 39 mm and 43 mm versions, with a silvered opaline or blue Côtes de Genève dial.
