Kuwait takes a peek at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s astronomy creations
On the evening of the 19th of May 2015, Jaeger-LeCoultre welcomed distinguished guests to its boutique in Kuwait’s 360 Mall
Paying tribute to astronomy, Jaeger-LeCoultre shares its passion for the universe through the mesmerising timepieces in the SIHH 2015 collection. Over 50 clients and collectors attended the event in Kuwait, to celebrate the legend-filled journey of Jaeger-LeCoultre from its origins, over 180 years ago in the Swiss Jura Mountains, to an integrated Manufacture that continues to deliver quality timepieces based on invention, precision and refinement.
Welcoming guests were Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Riedo; International Executive Director, Jerome Favier and Middle East Brand Director, Marc de Panafieu. Other guests included members of the Behbehani family and several prominent figures of the Kuwait watch collector community who all expressed a keen interest in the beautiful creations on display.
The 2015 collection speaks to the heart and the mind by drawing upon inexhaustible sources of inspiration, such as the sky, stars and Moon and as a result, the brand has created timepieces that feature a perpetual calendar and a Moonphase that fall against special materials directly related to its source of inspiration, such as meteorite stone, lapis lazuli and bordeaux aventurine.
The very nature of the functions provided by Jaeger-LeCoultre is to offer the owner of the watch an elegant scaled-down interpretation of the surrounding universe. They can thus eagerly look forward to discovering models such as the Rendez-Vous Moon and the Master Calendar with meteorite stone dials.
