Louis Moinet opens the heavens with new astral complication

Louis Moinet offers another blend of its exclusive watchmaking skill and ground-breaking aesthetic approach with the new AstroMoon – a Moonphase tourbillon chronograph. The aventurine dial features genuine meteorite fragments and signature dewdrop hands, making the watch a limited edition of just 28 pieces. However it’s the Moonphase aperture that captures one’s attention. As Jean-Marie Schaller, Ateliers Louis Moinet’s CEO, enthusiastically explains: “We started by taking a look at the most common Moonphases and noted one feature they all had in common: a tiny window that was not only small, but also only half-open. We wanted something different and thought; why not open up the heavens?”
